This site has the largest number of Maya sculptures, many of which have not been studied yet. Copan Ruinas also has a dazzling natural beauty, surrounded by pine, tropical and cloud forests, with natural caves, waterfalls in the midst of a rich vegetation, you can find colorful tropical birds, relax in the hot springs, meet its people visiting Maya chorti communities or just enjoy the place’s hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops with local crafts.
